Description:

The original ONEWAY Chuck has a medium sized body diameter and weighs 4.5 lbs making it the perfect choice for small to medium sized lathes. This chuck utilizes two levers to create a fast and efficient method of clamping while maintaining superior GRIPPING POWER. The patented top jaw design and self centering capabilities ensure a tight grip on a wide range of stock. To increase longevity of the chuck, the body is nickel plated and the base jaws and scroll are hardened. If SAFETY is a concern, the patented over extension prevention system literally makes it impossible for the jaws to come loose from the chuck during operation.

Features:

powerful clamping (5:1 ratio)

lever operation (two hand)

medium body diamter (3.5 inches)

wide range of accessory jaws

removeable insert for easy replacement

5This is one amazing chuck...Jan 13, 2010
By R. Bright
Ive been using this oneway chuck for about 10 years and I still love it. Its so well built, so solid, so well designed. I also like my Talon chuck, because lets face it using a key is easier (quicker) than using the 2 hardened steel rods, but I never find myself thinking that its too much work to loosen or tighten these jaws, and I like the simplicity of the system. If (when) I have to buy another chuck (I dont like changing jaws all day long and prefer to have multiple chucks) I will very likely just buy another one of these standard oneway's instead of the Talon, considering they are essentially the same, and I cant justify the extra few dollars just for the Talon's Key functionality.
