Perfection.Mar 27, 2011
By C.T.R. I love this product; I haven't had any problems at all. I purchased this product about a month ago and they are all still sticking well. I used these on the back of my computer desk to help organize the cables, and to keep the wires from showing under my desk. Still really great to my desk, computer case, and I even have one on the wall to hold the end of my phone charger up when not being used.
I saw one review in which the person says they had a bad experience with getting these to stick for a while. I know that with traditional 3M Command Strip Hooks I had to get the ones made for bathrooms or moist areas. When I spoke to customer service about it they had said that sometimes regular 3M command strips will not stick to some dark color or some washable paint on walls. The waterproof ones addressed this problem.
But as far as these cord clips go, they have stuck strong to my wall. It's just very important to be really careful about washing the wall with alcohol, waiting for it to fully dry, placing the strip, holding it firm against the wall for AT LEAST 30 seconds, and finally waiting an hour before putting anything in the clip. By trial and error in the past with other 3M Command products I can tell you that the instructions should be followed exactly or you will find everything you put up falling down.

By Lynner i actually returned this item, but i got bigger pack with all the size of the 3m cable clips. It's amazing, however, the small size is not big enough to hold the thinker cable line.

Saves walls, delicate hooksFeb 16, 2012
By Angie Kritenbrink We used 2 packs of these to run a 25' coaxial cable around our bedroom baseboards and around a door. We are renters, and our apartment has really old walls, some of which are plaster. So I avoid making nail holes when I can, and these worked fine for our project.
We did take the other reviewers' advice and prep the walls beforehand per the package instructions. We also waited a couple of hours before putting the cord in. These hooks do fit coaxial cable, but just barely. They have a very delicate piece that hooks the cable in, and I did break one just trying it out without any cable in it, so be careful with that. One hook also popped off of the wall near the door after we got the cable into it. Not sure if it wasn't stuck down properly or if the pull of the cable was too tight, but I stuck it in a slightly different spot and it has stayed (it's been about a week).

Another great 3M product!Dec 10, 2010

I can not believe that this 3M product couldn't be found in stores (eg. Walmart, Walgreens,) when this could be a great organization tool! Anyway, I bought this item to hang christmas lights outside. I was thinking of purchasing the small one or the medium one and I decided to purchase the small one but more on quantity. It holds the wires properly however few hours later some of the cord clips started to fall down. I should have bought the medium ones since there's more space for the tape to attach plus more area for the cord clips to attach to the wall. However, I still love the product that I gave it a 4 star rating.

Poor function, Poor Adhesive, Doesn't Hold cord very well.May 27, 2010
By M. Beaumier I used these cord guides to run a Ethernet cable out to my router. If you're guiding the cord along the floor, then the cord-guides should do their job, but, if you try to use them to run a cord up a wall, or over a door-way, then you'll be out of luck. The guides will hold at first, and then fall off--(and I applied the adhesive according to the instructions on the box). The cord also tends to just fall out of the guide--its not held very securely.
Just use some clear tape, or duct-tape, if the cord will be out of sight. You'll get better results for much cheaper. Remember that no adhesive will work on a dirty surface, so clean the wall before you stick stuff to it, and be aware of the type of paint on your wall, so that you don't tear off huge pieces of paint and lose a security deposit on your place.
