Battery works fine with my 18 volt xrp drill. The price is reasonable and shipped within a couple days of the order.

I am incrediably happy with this product. I am new to using dewalt accessories, and being the skeptical person i am, i was reluctant to purchasing a replacement battery over the internet.
Well i was wrong, this battery performs better then I thought it would, I would strongly recomend dewalt tools and the replacement items as you would need them.
One very happy customer.

We have been very happy with this battery. We have found that it lasts longer on a single charge than the battery that came with the drill. We have loved the ability to use one battery until it is dead, and change out for the new one. We used it last weekend to build a deck, and found that this was the battery in use the majority of the time. Charged quickly, worked great. I highly recommend!

This DEWALT XRP 18-Volt NiCad Battery is a replacement for the older ones that finally died a good death, from years of heavy use in new home construction & Home improvement projects.
We have about 4 or 5 DeWalt cordless drivers & drills, of various voltage and battery options. My favorite DeWalt 18-V Impact driver wore out 2 of these batteries, so I bought this replacement, and it was like giving my driver some Viagra!
* Note that this XRP 18-volt is an "Extended Run-Time" battery, is larger & heavier than the Standard one and should last Years, with good care.
* DEWALT uses top quality NiCd cells, offering High-performance + Run-Time. I've never had any type of failure with DeWalt tools, period.
* The 'Extended Run-Time' batteries deliver 40% more run time than cobalt technology and at least 50% more run time than the Standard, Smaller 18-Volt battery.
* As previously recommended, purchase the 2-pak, it's always good to have a back-up!

This battery works as it should and keeps a charge through most home improvement projects. As much as I want to complain about the price of a replacement battery, it really isn't that bad considering the previous one lasted over 5 years.
