fantastic value for moneyNov 07, 2007

Bought this re-conditioned on sale for $30. Best $30 I've ever spent. If you need/want a 1/4 inch shaft bit router, you can't beat this for the money. I have used it in a router table also and it works remarkably well there, as long as you are mindful of the 1/4 inch bit limitation. I think it regularly sells for $60, and quite frankly, I would not be unhappy with it at that price either. You're not going to build major furniture with this, but if you want to be able to do most other things that a 1/4 inch shaft router will do, this is an excellent buy!

Good RouterFeb 16, 2009
By Robert Peters Excellent router, unfortunately the price at the time seemed awesome, I picked up a Skil router table which included a brand new Router for not much more at a local DIY store.
For the uses I intended it for (light duty, hand held routing, to avoid having to change the router bits) this router is absolutely superb.
Again, CPO reconditioned tools have not let me down.

Great productNov 20, 2008

There really isn't much to say about this thing. It does what its supposed to without problems. Fits standard router bits, and has good grips for maneuvering. The window on the front is large enough to see what you're doing in most cases, but you'll either want to work in a well-lit area or have a flashlight handy, because not a lot of light gets into the cutting area.

Great for the moneyJan 21, 2010
By T. Emmert Well built and should last a long time. Frequent users may want to look for a more expensive one.
The depth adjuster is probably why most of these are Factory reconditioned. On my reconditioned one it seems very breakable.
Point is I'll just leave the depth where I need it or be easy on it when I adjust the depth.
