I've found nothing better for removing tile grout. We can clean at least 10 standard tile tub surrounds with each blade - more or less. About $10 a surround. I'd like to know if something better (faster and longer lasting) exists.

Lasts and lastsFeb 20, 2011
By John Nazarenko We de-grouted all of our kitchen counters with this one blade and it is still good for more work. Well worth it to buy the diamond over the carbide.

fein diamond tile bladeFeb 20, 2011
By Christopher Grant III My carbide blade was destroyed after one wall of a tiled bath tube surround. The diamond blade did the other two walls and cut tiles as well and looks good as new.

Great blade for great toolAug 11, 2010

This is really an amazing tool. Usually you had to lose many tiles in a wall or floor to replace one chipped tile. With this tool and blade it is effortless to remove just one. Remember to let the tool do the cutting, don't apply too much pressure.
