Grizzley Trammel pointsDec 10, 2009

These are a well made copy of the Stanley #4 trammel point, ( collector item 50.00) You will also find these by Kunz (green and 35.00), and several others...
What is the difference? Black paint, and these are 7.00/...
All trammel points work the same, they clamp on a stick, and draw a circle...
I use mine on a 4 foot metal ruler, laying flat instead of standing up....

They're trammel points...Nov 09, 2009
By A. Berry Pros:
- They're trammel points, they pretty much work as advertised.
Cons:
- Pencil holder only fits a regular #2 pencil, won't fit even an extra-fine sharpie marker or pen or carpenter's pencil. - The position of the set screw on the pencil holder is such that you have to 'pull' with the pencil on rough surfaces, otherwise the pencil will catch and flip right out of the holder. - The clamping screws are a bit short, you'll need to use a bar that's at least 1/4" thick--so no using a ruler for it's convenient graduations.

Won't hold on to the pencilDec 07, 2010
By Richard D. Penrod The price is certainly right, but if you intend to draw large radius circles (which we do all of the time making scenery) the pencil keeps falling out of the holder. We ended up having to tape it in.
Trammel PointsDec 07, 2011
By too2twain This Grizzly Trammel set is been the best tool for the price I have purchased in many years. It work great mounted on a nice maple yard stick I've had for years and, boy, and I satisfied!
Must have in workshopOct 11, 2011
By Curtis M This is fine and is simply a must have in any decent workshop. I keep it permanently set in a wooden rule.
