Protect your investmentJul 19, 2000

Tarps kept in moisture and caused rust on my machinery. Plastic sheets fell off every time I turned on the air cleaner. So I tried one of these Tool Saver covers and quickly bought more for all my shop tools. They are substantial enough to stay put (with magnets in the corners that secure it to your tools), non-marring, and flexible enough to fold up neatly into an out of the way bundle. This, my friends, is cheap protection.

Covers so good they're cat proof!Mar 19, 2007

I purchased my first HTC cover (large) for a new table saw about a year ago. I thought it was a little pricey but, I needed something and I hoped this one was good. Little did I know how soon I'd find out how good.
The very next morning I went out to the shop and found that one of my shop cats Tabby, decided to critique my choice of table saws. He left a very large and wet puddle of "commentary" on the saw top. Fortunately the cover prevented any of the "criticism" from reaching and ruining the cast iron top.
Was I thinking the cover was expensive then? Hardly... I now own 10 of the various sized covers.

Vapor Barrier!Feb 01, 2007

I use the medium size (36"x56") HTC Tool Saver Machine Cover to protect my Werner grinder from damage caused from moisture, dust, oil and anything else that could gum up the works. I also have the Tool Saver Machine Cover, Large (56-Inch x 72-Inch) to protect my miter saw and stand. My tools are stored in my unattached 2 1/2 car garage/workshop and, as the good doctor previously mentioned in his review, other covers easily blew off when using fans, blowers and, in my case, sometimes just opening the garage door. On occassion we get a good stiff North wind that blows dirt in, swirls around dust and would send the lightweight plastic cover sailing like a leaf in the wind. The weighted HTC Tool Saver Cover stays put keeping my tools undercover, protected from dust and grime. Along with using Boeshield - T-9 Premium Metal Protection, I now have the type of moisture protection that can handle Michigan's weather extremes. ~ The Boss
great coverMay 01, 2011
By Terry R. Nye These are great machine covers. HTC makes several sizes of covers, and I use this particular size for several medium-sized woodworking machines. But it would be useful for any small machine. The cover has magnetic catches sewn in the hem to help it stay on. I have these covers on all of my freestanding woodworking machines including my table saw, band saw, miter saw, drill press, etc to keep dust away and protect them from moisture. They are well worth the investment.
If you have tools you need these.Dec 24, 2010
By Sabretooth I've already posted one review for these covers, they work great! Hope this company keeps them in stock for years to come as I don't see myself going back to garbage bags and thin-mil plastic to cover my tools.
