Jorgensen #2 clampsJan 14, 2001
By Larry L.Metzgar I own a small cabinet makeing shop and have been useing Jorgensen clamps for years. I prefer the number 2 because its a middle of the road size for most wood working projects. My number one preference for the clamp is the way the wooden handles are attached to the threaded steel. I have never twisted a handle off yet when clamping. The versatility of the clamp also allows you to clamp irregular pieces together by not drawing the clamp together uniformaly. The hard maple does not mar your work surfaces either. Another plus to Jorgensen clamps has to be the ease of glue cleanup when a little to much runs onto the clamp. A great clamp that either a novice or experienced woodworker will come to depend upon when working on there favorite project

Great Clamps for woodworking.Sep 19, 2003
By G. Powell These clamps have been around for ever. Any good woodworking shop has a pile of them. Get them in pairs at a minimum and get a variety of sizes you won't be sorry. They last a lifetime and more.Oh yeah the other dimension you need to know is the distance from the tip to the middle spindle on this clamp is 6 inches.

Great clampSep 01, 2009

We have 26 of these clamps in various sizes. My husband has been making mission furniture for over 30 years and has owned his own furniture business. He swears by these and would not even consider another clamp manufacture of this type. There is other clamps on the market that look like Jorgensen but they just dont compare in quality. Don't get me wrong ... you still need dozens of other clamps (bar,C,corner, etc.) but for daily use and good control this is a great clamp. [...]
Good clampMar 22, 2006
By Jon Logan Good clamp, good price. I'm sure to have these for the rest of my life. There were a few burrs that I had to file on the metal part, but other than that, no problems.
