Ever found that the tool you wanted came with an unlikeable handle. Or inadverently broke a handle. Or wanted to make your own chisel. The problem with turning wood handles is a) you have to make them, and b) it's hard to get the right weight and fit. Oneway's Sure-Grip Tool Handles are designed to give you a low labor option with atool handle that has enough heft to dampen a lot of vibration.
This handle is 17-1/2 inches long and can handle both 1/2" and 5/8" inch metal stock. Weight is 2-1/2 lbs., which is plenty. If you want something a bit smaller Oneway also has a 12" long handle at 1-3/4 lbs. There are also some adaptors available that will handle 3/8 and 3/4 inch stock. So, all in all, this is a versatile solution to a common woodturner's problem.
