Heavy WeightJun 18, 2007

I was in the market looking for a sturdy Miter Saw Work Bench for several months. I had looked at the Dewalt Bench several times, the extension rail adjustment felt loose. All of my power tools are Dewalt or Milwaukee, therefore the bench would definitely be one of the two. I guess it was mere luck that I found the bench on Amazon. I immediately ordered it, not to take a chance of them being out of stock. The bench is a little heavy but it is solid and sturdy. I plan to fashion a 90 degree eight inch angle metal end stop, to use when I am cutting several pieces of wood stock the same length. It would have been great if an end stop were included in the package. Like Milwaukee other products it is a great tool to have.

I've been kneeling on the floor for way too long! I do a fair amount of trim work. But always felt the bulk of the stand and the cost of a decent unit wasn't worth it. Always fondling the Dewalt stand in the home center but the nearly 200 dollar tag was too high. I was wrong. The cost was less than the Dewalt. Not as cool looking as the extruded aluminum on the Dewalt. But well constructed of galvanized steel. I mounted my Dewalt saw to it with no problem. This is the same unit as offered by another manufacturer, but with the Milwaukee labels. It went together in a snap and I was hooked after the first miter fit together perfect. No matter how well you hold the longer pieces, or how you try and stack up scrap to support the molding. You always have the risk of slight variance in your miter. Just a fraction at the saw results in a huge gap on the wall. This unit is sturdy, gavanized, and folds up with ease. Rides nice in the van, although you need to save a big piece of floor for it. And as I have pointed out in other reviews... Always love to buy, MADE IN U.S.A.!

It is very sturdy and fit my Milwaukee Miter saw with ease... My issue is I have only had this product for 3 weeks and its rusting.. This concerns me will this product fail quickly?
