Milwaukee Cermet tipped saw bladeApr 10, 2007

I bought this blade wondering if it would cut as I have heard it would. Not wanting to spend a lot for the whole saw I went for only the blade. Well I put it on my table saw and it cut very clean and with very few sparks. Now I did feed it at about 1/6th the speed of a piece of wood while cutting 3/16 inch thick steel. All I can say is it cut great, Very clean, cool to the touch in about 20 seconds or so. Was not sure if it would be to hot to touch so I waited the few sconds. Just use a face shield to protect your eyes from the very small slivers of metal.I never thought metal could be cut this clean and easy and almost spark free.

A cut above the rest.Sep 18, 2010
Brilliant invention. I'm a sculptor who works mainly in steel. I cut an entire life sized, three dimensional horse from 1/4" steel plate, using only one blade. It is essential to use the correct saw, (Milwaukee), with this blade, both for longevity of the saw blade, and one's own safety. The cuts are clean, it's easy to push the tool through the material, and there are no sparks. An absolute must for fabricators and artists alike.

METAL CUTTING BLADESOct 01, 2010
By JIM THESE BLADES ARE GREAT. I USE THEM ALOT FOR SCRAP METAL CUTTING TO MAKE LOADS MORER COMPACT. THE ONLY THING IF THERE HAPPENS TO BE A HARD SPOT IN THE METAL IT MAY CHIP OR LOSE A TOOTH. JUST DON'T LET THE METAL BIND THE BLADE OR YOU HAVE TO GET ANOTHER PERSON TO STEADY THE PIECE WHILE MAKING THE CUT. I'VE CUT 2" SOLID SHAFTS IN A MATTER OF SECONDS. I'D HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE BLADES OR THE 50T IF THE METAL IS PRETTY THIN.

excellent metal cutting bladeOct 05, 2009
By Alan P. White The Milwaukee 42 tooth metal cutting blade works great for most metal cutting. I have a small welding shop and have used these blades for several years now, with great success. The inportant thing is not to push the saw and blade too hard through the metal. Let the saw and blade do the work. I would recomend this blade to anyone looking for a metal cutting blade.Milwaukee 48-40-4515 8-Inch 42 Tooth Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metal Cutting Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor

Metal Cutting Saw BladeMay 16, 2009
By Donald R. Howard I previosly purchased the Milwahkee metal cutting and it came with the 42 tooth blade used for cutting thicker metals. I needed the 50 tooth blade to cut "Decorative iron fencing" which is made of thin gauge steel and then powder coat painted. This blade left a smooth cut with NO chipping or other damage to the railing or paint.
