Excellent replacementAug 11, 2009
By John Sullivan I bought a Bosch tool unaware that it uses proprietary bits. The SDS Plus bits are well-designed and are also crazy expensive, and I already own masonry bits. I am sure that the Bosch adapter is also well-engineered - but man it it expensive. Instead I bought an SDS to 20 thread spindle and this keyed chuck. In short: half the cost and all the functionality. I've used it to drive a 14" 1/2" bit through stucco and brick about 10 times, to drive a 3/4" 8" bit into concrete 12 times, and to drive, with a handheld heavy duty drill, hex bolts through headers into 4x4 posts. Worked great every time.
Awesome ChuckAug 20, 2011
By Eric I use this chuck for an old wood lathe. It works great and was a great price. Product is highly recommended.
Great productMay 11, 2011
By Schamy I purchased this originally to put on my radial arm saw but decided to use it on a drum sander I am building. I will be buying another one in the future
Very good quality replacement chuckDec 28, 2010
By Edgar J. Puckett I bought 2 of these for some old drills that the chucks were worn out on and am very happy with the results. the Chucks are good quality and hold bits firmly, even in high torque uses.
Great product for the moneyApr 05, 2008
By M. Anderson Rugged. Solid tooling. Not much more can be said beside it is worth the money. I've used it a couple dozen times on a lathe and it's been great.
