don't do it!Dec 14, 2008 spend the cash and get the Barricuda 4 jaw chuck!
I am not happy with this product. its stiff out of the box, adjusting with two pins is old school, and a PIA! Quite frankly Im really surprised PSI put there name on it. It took a light chisel hit to the jaw at low speed, and the damage left it virtually imposable to open/close again. really, buy the larger psi Barricuda 2, and never have any probs.

Excellent chuck for small tools and toys.Mar 29, 2008 I purchased this chuck because my larger chuck was too big for small tools and toys. It will eaisly hold anything from a 1/8 inch dowel to a 1 inch rough piece of wood. Holds inside or outside in 3 steps. Excellent quality. It gets only 4 stars because reversing the jaws takes some extra thought. (The id numbers on the side help.) The jaws are tightened with the included 2 inch rods which work fine just like my larger chuck.

Handy low grip chuckMar 23, 2008 Nice little 3 jaw chuck where tight grip is not too important. I tried machining a brass bar and the grip was not strong enough. Will work just fine for wood, plastic or other softer materials.
