I have a dust collector and it is 20 feet away from the area for my table saw and router table. This remote makes it so quick and easy to run that it is almost as fun as flipping channels on the TV. No need to leave the noisy collector running as you make adjustments. Great to have and if your collector is positioned like mine is, just about the only way to turn it on and off.

The only downside is not buying The Long Ranger sooner. This device works great. A big convenience, I found using the dust collector more often and when it should be used. There is a 110v and 220v model.

this is the one. amazing. Bought the shop fox and did not work unless u held the remote right up to the receiver. what a joke. This one is the real deal. i have four around my shop. Could not be happier

Product is simple to install and works as designed. Even though it is not the cheapest alternative on the market (there are others like Grizzly that are about 1/3 the cost of this item), you quickly forget the amount paid each time it performs flawlessly. If you have ever had to walk around your shop multiple times to turn on/off your chip/dust collector, this product is for you. You will not be disappointed.

I Build Electric Guitars. I bought this to hook to my Oneida Dust Collection System which is connecten to several woodworking tools.
All you do is push the button! You dont have to even aim it at the receiver which itself is small unlike some other receivers out there. I put one at either ends of my shop which works out great. I literally "smile" every time I turn it on. What a great important convenience. Focus on the work and not waste time walking back and forth.
The remote is huge but you sure wont lose it! I've dropped it a couple of times.
It takes a licking and keeps on clicking.
I've had it 6 months now.
Highly recommended. Pays for itself in time saved in walking back and forth.
