nice little viceJul 22, 2006
By Robert G I ordered this vice to go with my Palmgren drill press. I found that it is a good little vice and pretty much as described in the add. The only problem is the chain that is attached to the pin geet in the way when sliding the vice around on the drill press. also the handle for clamping the angle of the vice can slip in to the groves that bolt down the vise which also gets in the way of sliding the vice around. If you are going to bolt the vise to the press this is a good vice to have.

Palmgren #11351Aug 14, 2009
By K. Schiller I purchased this item through Amazon to go with my milling machine and expected an American made product. Instead Palmgren has gone to China and I got an inferior Chinese manufactured vise with a stamped Palmgren nameplate. Vice was dirty and painted a sooty gray, not the American green as shown in picture. Machining and castings were not up to US standards. Two year warranty instead of lifetime for US manufactured vise. In short, disappointed. Amazon needs to properly represent what it sells.
