Superior Quality ViseJul 17, 2009

This is the quality that I am used to, and more than willing to spend a little extra on. This vise will last forever, and the jaw defelection is what is stated on the product description. I am using this as a better solution to an arbor type press, I have two 3" wide, high tolerance, expensively machined components that must be pressed together under approximately 1 ton of pressure. Since an arbor press is confined to a smaller press area, this vise is the perfect solution because of its' quality and specs. Less than $50! Note: It is made in China, but this is not typical import junk. Amazing bargain.

Asian import, but of very high quality...Fine grain Cast iron construction...Parallel ground hardened jaws...Superior locking handle...Massive turn bolt...This unit has a rock solid feel to it....for under 50 bucks.... I think your looking at the best machine vise value out there right now....
