 The ever-hard-to-find 12v flashlight bulbSep 21, 2001

12v flashlight bulbs are not exactly easy to find. Home Depot? nope. Lowe's? nope. True Value? nope. These are all places that sell the flashlight, but not the bulbs, strange but true.
Even when shopping online they turn up in places you would not normally look, ie: amazon.com. Hey kids, they aren't just for books anymore...by the way the actual item I was looking for was DeWalt 12v flashlight bulbs, however my theory that the Porter-Cable bulbs would work in my DeWalt turned out to be true, for all I know it's the same manufacturer for both. thanx Amazon.com!

Buyer beware. I recieved plain DeWalt 12v flashlight bulbs which are not as good as the Porter Cable Xenon bulbs (I have used both brands and the DeWalt is not as good) for the same price. Shipping and handling was also 5.99, the USPS envelope had a .76 stamp on it, seems like a lot extra just to stick something in an envelope.

since porter cable battery flaslights use specific bulbs as replacement, this is a must have item...works great , now have light where i want it..and the price was good compared to other sites i visited

Great flashlight. I use it all the time. My kids also love it and have broken the bulb once. So did my brother-in-law. One fall is all it takes. This is the only bad thing about the flash light. Oh yeh, these bulbs are impossible to find locally, so do like I did and order a bundle...
