Segmented bowlsFeb 09, 2009 If you want to know the history of segmented bowls and Ray Allen this is for you.
This is not an instructional DVD which is what I thought it was by the discription.
I am Very disappointed in this DVD, they should discribe it's contents in the discription.

woodturnerFeb 05, 2009 NOT AN INSTRUCTIONAL DVD, PERIOD. If you like to look at wood fine, instruction no. Even then, its lacking. Pictoral of vases is a good word for it.

Beautiful wooden artNov 03, 2008 I have recommanded the book to my friends and now I am recommanding this DVD. These two products are inseparable as there is nothing better than this video to illustrate and appreciate what is in the book. Ray Allen is shown working in his shop and explaining his techniques, the choices of woods, the colors, etc... We can really enjoy the beauty of the art work as the pieces turn on themselves on the screen. If you like wood, you will like this document. If you enjoy woodturning, I wholeheartedly recommand this very special DVD.
